Badlands Community Facility is a great place for birthday parties – your party will include a one-hour booking of the field house. Your party will finish with in a designated area for 60 minutes for cake and gifts.

You provide the cake – we provide the space for fun.

Bounce Castle Birthday Party

Nerf Wars Birthday Party

Take on your friends and family in a NERF Battle! We supply the Nerf blasters and ammo or bring your own blaster (please do not bring your own darts).

Book a Birthday Party at the Aquaplex

Aquaplex Pool is a wonderful place for pool parties – your party will include a one-hour booking of the pool, with all its amenities as well as 60 minutes for cake and gifts in our spectator area (must be within facility hours).

You provide the cake – we provide the space for fun!

Pool Party

This pool party is scheduled with other customers sharing the pool and includes one hour in the pool with 60 minutes before or after the pool (must be within facility operation hours) in the spectator area.

(Prices starting at & GST not included)

• Ages:A responsible person 16 years of age or older must be in the water within arm's reach of all children who are under 8 years old. There is a minimum 1 responsible person to every 5 children (5-7 yrs.) and to every 3 children (under 5 yrs.).
• Available times: during any Public Swim times.
• Base Cost:
  • Resident $100 (for 20 people including supervising adults).                       
  • Non-Resident $130 (for 20 people including supervising adults).

Private Pool Party

This party includes one hour in the pool, with 60 minutes before or after the pool (must be within facility operation hours) in the spectator area.

• Ages: A responsible person 16 years of age or older must be in the water within arm's reach of all children who are under 8 years old. There is a minimum 1 responsible person to every 5 children (5-7 yrs.) and to every 3 children (under 5 yrs.).
• Available times: Saturdays, 5:00-6:00 pm (call for alternative availability) 
• Base Cost:
  • Residents $180 (for 20 people, including supervising adults).                   
  • Non-Resident $210 (for 20 people, including supervising adults).

For your party at the BCF

When should I arrive for the party?

Meet your guests in the lobby and check in with our staff. We recommend having your guests meet 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Check in with our staff at the customer service desk.

Arrive at your designated space on time. Due to the volume of party bookings, we are unable to extend your booking time. ​

Can I bring food and drinks?

You are welcome to bring food and drinks. Remember to bring all your birthday essentials, e.g. paper plates, paper cups, etc.

• It’s best to keep things simple with snacks or just cake/gift opening rather than a full meal.
• We cannot guarantee refrigeration, we recommend bringing a small cooler.
• We do not provide cooking or heating facilities.

Can I decorate the party area?

The party area will have tables and chairs available. If you would like to brighten it up with a tablecloth, birthday banners and other decorations, you are welcome to do so.

• We do not permit glass containers, silly string, piñatas or other novelties that disperse.
• We do permit balloons and wall decorations can be displayed with painter’s tape.
• All decorations and adhesive materials must be removed at the end of the Birthday Party.
• Alcohol is permitted with the BCF in-house bar services for adult parties only.

Do I need to clean after the party?

Parties are responsible for collecting all garbage/recycling, sweeping the area, and wiping the tables. Supplies will be provided. Space must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the booked time.

Do parents need to be in the water with the kids?

Yes, a responsible person 16 years of age or older must be in the water within arm’s reach of all children who are under 8 years old. There is a maximum 1 responsible person to every 3 children (under 5 yrs.), 1 responsible person to every 5 children (ages 5 – 7 yrs.). Children 8 years of age and older are permitted to swim on their own. Lifejackets are available.

Can I bring my own pool toys?

Yes, but the staff can refuse the use of any toys you bring. We suggest small water toys, since they are likely to be accepted.  All toys must be cleaned before being used in the pool.
