Chainsaw Wizards

Power & Precision International Sculpting Event - May 16 to 19, 2025

This year Drumheller is stepping onto the International Arts Stage!

Alberta's biggest tree carving festival will be back during the May long weekend to welcome spring! Not just an event, Chainsaw Wizards is a project that was born to honour the trees that were cut down for the berms by giving them a new life in the Valley.

As we strive to make every year better, now we are jumping onto the international stage!

In collaboration with the world renowned carver Marina Cole, the Chainsaw Wizards Committee is excited to share the first edition of a new International Arts Festival: Power & Precision, International Sculpting Event.

You will experience the creation of amazing art by top talent from around the World!

We will have carvers coming from Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, and 3 artists from Canada. Right here in our Valley!

Save the date on your calendar to come witness the talent of these amazing artists.

This event is for all ages, food and live music will be a part of the experience! We look forward to seeing you there!

Event Grounds: 10 Riverside Drive West, Drumheller Alberta (former curling rink site)
