2022 Volunteer Tax Program
Posted on Feb. 22 2022The Drumheller Valley Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), with support from Starland County FCSS, are offering the Volunteer Tax Program once again. This program is available for seniors and individuals with modest income and simple tax situations for the 2022 tax season.
Participants must meet specified income thresholds of $35,000 for single and $45,000 for couples.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, in-person tax clinics will NOT be held this year. Please note, applicants may experience delays in response times due to staffing changes. We ask that you do not contact our volunteer tax-preparer, Bill Wulff, directly.
Tax Envelopes, including a form that requires your signature, are available to pick up starting March 1, 2022 at the following locations:
- Freson Bros Customer Service Counter
- Riverside Value Drug Mart Front Counter
- Drumheller Public Library Front Desk
When completed, place the signed form, along with all of your tax slips, back into the envelope, seal it and drop it off in the 'Book Return Slot' at the front of the Drumheller Public Library. Your taxes will be e-filed and a copy returned to you.
If you have any questions, please contact Senior Services at 403-823-1317.
