Drummheller COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force
Posted on Mar. 31 2020During this time of economic uncertainty, The Town of Drumheller and Chamber of Commerce has partnered to establish an economic recovery task force to provide resources to help local businesses navigate the various financial aid and deferral programs offered by:
- Government of Canada
- Government of Alberta
- Town of Drumheller
- Major banks and private lenders
This task force will also assist charitable and non-profit organizations with grant applications recently announced by the Province https://floodreadiness.drumheller.ca/covid-19/
The aim of this program is to provide Drumheller businesses, non-profits and charitable organizationswith telephone or online support with:
- Information and eligibility about financial aid programs launched by the Governments of Canada and Alberta;
- Information and eligibility about FCSS Grant program for charitable and non-profit organizations;
- Information and eligibility about the Town of Drumheller's deferral programs;
- Information about the Canada Revenue Agency's filing deadline changes and payment deferral program;
- Information about the mortgage, lines of credit and other debt deferral programs offered by Canada's largest lenders;
- Contact information for all the above programs;
- Coaching on how to advocate your case if eligibility is not automatic;
