Canadian Navigable Waters Act
Posted on Jun. 22 2022The Town of Drumheller hereby gives notice that three (3) submissions have been added to the Navigable Waters Registry pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment described herein and its site and plans.
Pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(b) of the said Act, the Town of Drumheller has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Common Project Search Registry http://cps.canada.ca/ and under registry numbers, 5920, 5932, 5934, a description of the following work, its site and plans:
Installation of riprap along the bank of the Red Deer River for erosion protection and bank stabilization associated with flood mitigation dike construction at three (3) locations
- In the Red Deer River at Willow Estates directly east of Willow Point (behind the houses located from 20 to 28 Willow Point) in Drumheller, AB (Registry # 5920)
- In the Red Deer River at Newcastle northwest of 1207 Riverside Ave W in Drumheller, AB (Registry #5932)
- In the Red Deer River at Midland south of 2208 N River Dr in Drumheller, AB (Registry #5934)
