Huntington Water Main Break

Town crews are currently working on a water main break in the Huntington area. Residents may experience low water pressure and discoloration as crews turn and repair valves to isolate the leak and complete the repair. Should you experience discoloured water, please let the cold water run for a few minutes to flush your line clear, the water remains safe.

Councillor Crystal Sereda

Phone: 403-823-1347

Born and raised in Carbon, Alberta, Crystal has always had roots near the Drumheller Valley. After graduating from Mount Royal College in 2005 with a Child and Youth Care Counselling Diploma, she knew she would make the Valley her forever home.

Crystal and her husband are no strangers to the local business scene in Drumheller, having started up and run two successful businesses. A career change followed shortly after, with Crystal becoming a Senior Judicial Clerk with Alberta Solicitor General to focus on her family and the business.

With two busy sons, who enjoy the endless outdoor activities that the Drumheller Valley offers, she mentions that this community is nestled in such a unique part of the world that we often forget how incredible it is. Crystal took a chance to create a life in Drumheller and says there is no place she would rather be.

"I love this valley," Crystal says, "the opportunities, the landscape but mostly the people." With a great group of dedicated volunteers and community-minded individuals, she believes that Drumheller's sense of community will guide the community for the future.
