It's almost that time of the year when property taxes are due! To avoid penalties being applied, your payment must be received by the Town of Drumheller no later than August 31, 2023. 

The 2023 property tax notices for the Town of Drumheller residents were mailed out in May 2023.  If you have not received your 2023 tax notice, please contact the Town’s office at 403-823-6300 or email propertytaxes@drumheller.ca. 

If your preferred method of payment is through online banking or your banking institution, the process can take up to four business days. A reminder to plan ahead when choosing these preferred methods of payment to include any delays! 

Drumheller property owners are advised that due to the ongoing delays with Land Titles and document registration processing times, recent ownership and mailing address changes may not have been reflected on the Town of Drumheller’s property tax notices. If you recently purchased a property and did not receive a property tax notice, please call 403-823-6300 or email propertytaxes@drumheller.ca to inquire about the current status of the property taxes.

To avoid penalties, the Town of Drumheller encourages residents to enroll in the preauthorized payment plan. To qualify for enrolment, any months that have elapsed must be paid prior to enrolment.  For example, if your property taxes are $1,200.00 for the year, your monthly payment would be $100.00 ($1200.00/12= $100.00).  If the enrolment is to begin in August, a payment of $700.00 is required to cover the months of January to July. Enrolment must be completed no later than the 20^th of each month.
