In May 2024, the Town of Drumheller mailed residents their 2024 Property Tax Notices. Property taxes are due on August 31, 2024. If you have not received your 2024 tax notice, please get in touch with the Town’s office at 403-823-6300 or email propertytaxes@drumheller.ca.  

For online banking, process turnaround times for such payments can take up to four business days. Please allow sufficient time when choosing to pay through online banking.  Any payments received after the due date, August 31, 2024, will be subject to a 5% penalty. Please remember this important date to avoid any penalties.

To avoid penalties, the Town of Drumheller encourages residents to enroll in the preauthorized payment plan. This convenient plan ensures your taxes are paid on time, every time. To qualify for enrollment, any months that have elapsed must be paid before enrollment.  For example, if your property taxes are $1,200.00 for the year, your monthly payment would be $100.00 ($1200.00/12= $100.00).  If the enrollment is to begin in August, a payment of $700.00 is required to cover the months of January to July. Enrollment must be completed no later than the 20th of each month.
