We are excited to announce the start of our Fall Street Sweeping Program, which will begin on Tuesday, October 15.

This program will last approximately 4–5 weeks, depending on the weather. We kindly ask the public to keep an eye out for signs indicating the specific areas we will be working in on any given day.

Here is a tentative schedule for the sweeping program:

• Area 1: Downtown/Lower Newcastle/South of the Red Deer River/North of Highway 10/9 (Approx. 8 days)
• Area 2: Riverside Drive East and the Greentree area (Approx. 3 days)
• Area 3: Lower and Upper Midland/North Drumheller (Approx. 3 days)
• Area 4: Huntington Hills, Bankview, Hillsview, Twin Hills, Upper Newcastle (Approx. 4 days)
• Area 5: Nacmine (Approx. 2 days)
• Area 6: Rosedale (Approx. 1 days)
• Area 7: Cambria (Approx. 1 day)
• Area 8: East Coulee (Approx. 1 day)

To assist us in our efforts, we kindly ask that vehicles be removed from the street when signs are in place for sweeping, curb ramps be cleared, and leaves from properties not be placed on the street. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Additionally, we remind all property owners and occupants to ensure that tree branches, shrubs, or other vegetation do not overhang onto neighbouring premises, obstruct sidewalks, interfere with public work or utilities, or impair visibility at intersections. No person shall place or permit to be placed any snow, ice, dirt, leaves, debris or other material from their premises onto a highway, town land or other private property.
