UPDATE: Huntington Water Main Break

Currently, the Huntington booster station has been powered down, resulting in low to no water pressure in the area. A booster station is an essential piece of municipal infrastructure as it increases/maintains water pressure in surrounding neighbourhoods. Due to the nature of the replacement, 10 Avenue SE between 1 and 2 Street SE is currently closed. Residents should avoid the area until work is complete.

2021 Volunteer Tax Program

Posted on Mar. 1 2021

Town of Drumheller Family Community Support Services (FCSS) department is again offering the volunteer income tax program for seniors and low-income individuals for the upcoming 2021 tax season.

"We are so grateful for Bill Wulff, our volunteer tax expert," shares Rose Pouslon, Senior Services Coordinator.  "The volunteer tax program will be available to singles whose income is $35,000 or under or couples under $45,000."

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, in-person tax clinics will not be available this year. Tax envelopes are available for pick up starting March 1st, 2021 at Freson Bros and Riverside Value Drug Mart. All necessary forms are included in these packages.

Once complete, participants can submit the tax package in a sealed envelope via the Drumheller Public Library's book slot. These taxes will be electronically filed and a copy will be provided.

For more information on this program, please contact our Senior Services Coordinator at 403-823-1317.
