OPENING REMARKS

Mayor Colberg informed the public the reason for the Special Council Meeting, which was called in accordance with Section 194(4) of the Municipal Government Act, was to discuss the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce’s decision to decommission the World’s Largest Dinosaur.

CLOSED SESSION: DRUMHELLER & DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S DECISION TO DECOMMISSION WORLD’S LARGEST DINOSAUR

Council closed the meeting to the public to discuss the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce’s (DDCC) decision to decommission the World’s Largest Dinosaur as per FOIP 16 – Disclosure harmful to business interests of a third party; FOIP 23 – Local public body confidences; and FOIP 24 – Advice from Officials.

After returning to open session, Council passed a resolution that Council and Administration discuss the future of the World’s Largest Dinosaur with Travel Drumheller and the DDCC.
