Notice of Public Hearing - Proposed Bylaw 33.24 - Lehigh Road Closure

PURPOSE: Pursuant to Sections 22, Chapter M-26 of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, the Town of Drumheller intends to consider a Bylaw to close all streets and lanes depicted within the Bylaw and to dedicate the lands as an Environmental Reserve.

A copy of the Proposed Bylaw is available online at: https://www.drumheller.ca/your-municipality/bylaws or available for inspection at the Town of Drumheller office located at 224 Centre Street, Drumheller, Alberta T0J 0Y4.

A Public Hearing for the proposed road closure will be held on Monday, November 18th starting at 5:30pm in Council Chambers and/or using a virtual platform at the Town of Drumheller office. The meeting will be held in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and the Council & Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw #04.21. Any person who claims to be affected by the proposed Bylaw is invited to present their comments in person at the Public Hearing.

Persons wishing to submit a written statement concerning this matter may do so by emailing legislativeservices@drumheller.ca or by mailing the statement to: Legislative Services, Town of Drumheller, 224 Centre Street, Drumheller, Alberta T0J 0Y4. The written submissions for the Public Hearing must include a name for the record and will be included in the meeting agenda. Written submissions will be received up until Friday, November 8th, 2024, at 4:30 PM
