The Town of Drumheller is excited to announce the inauguration of the Drumheller Valley Sports Committee. This new initiative will play a key role in shaping the future of sports development in the community. Based on the recommendations outlined in the 2023 Parks & Recreation Master Plan, the committee’s primary goal is to provide advisory support to the Town of Drumheller on all matters related to sports development.

The Terms of Reference for the committee were developed with the help of the dedicated Sports Task Force and formally adopted by the Town Council on February 3, 2025. Their hard work and vision have created a strong foundation for the committee, and now we need passionate, committed individuals to carry this momentum forward.

“If you are someone who is deeply passionate about sports in Drumheller and eager to contribute to the development and growth of sports in our community, the Drumheller Valley Sports Committee is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to step into leadership roles, provide insight, and collaborate with fellow community members to make a real difference,” shares Rick Ladouceur, Manager of Recreation Arts and Culture.
